Dropped off in Heanor

Today was another driving day - it has been great to take 6 days off but we started the day picking up Jeanette for our trip up to Darlington with a break at Heanor in Derbyshire to see L and J’s auntie Helen. I managed to get the van washed at a hand wash place and fill up with the most reasonably priced diesel I had seen and spent the rest of the time with J,L and Auntie Helen who was being subjected to L and J’s interrogation on a number of subjects including the war and grandma and grandad’s interesting relationship.

The second half of the journey was uneventful and we arrived at LV’s who went out to furnish us with fish and chips from a prize winning emporium Yarm Chip Shop. Had a good chin wag with LV over delicious Amarone wine and now time to get some rest before whatever we will do tomorrow.
