Dolly's Day

Back Lane Flowers

Phoned the Health Centre this morning just after 8am. I was 6th in the queue.  After 8 mins I got through to a receptionist and made an appointment to see a doctor at 10.20am.

The doctor prescribed some painkillers.  They take around a week to have any effect and around 4 - 6 weeks to feel the full benefit. They have to be taken in the evenings as they make you drowsy.

Before I left the Health Centre I asked about my osteoporosis injection which is due on 18th July.  I couldn't make an appointment previously as the hospital hadn't sent over the notes or authorised the GP surgery to do it.  The receptionist checked and they still hadn't got anything so shes going to chase them up and get back to me.

Next stop was the chemist to pick up my prescription,  Then the greengrocers, Herons and Tesco.  I usually shop in the afternoons and the shops are fairly quiet then so I was surprised at how busy everywhere  was this morning.

Walked home along the back lane through the allotments where I found my blip shots.........Hedge Woundwort, Honesty and Crane's-bill (geranium sanguineum) Hopefully all these names are correct - I used my PlantNet app to identify them. Thanks to BikerBear for hosting Flower Friday.

Caught up with a bit of TV viewing and then went to bed for a nap.

Some plants, plant pots and compost were delivered yesterday so I potted up the plants and gave them a good watering. I also watered the other pots in the back and front gardens..

Weather today was hot and muggy.
