My topsy-turvy life

Not Dad's Day

For (not) Father's Day this year I dragged persuaded everyone to partake in a trip to Liverpool. I actually wanted to see the Goodbye to Goodison* exhibition at the Museum and so we decided to make a day of it, even Aaron, getting the Mersey Rail into the centre.

The exhibition wasn't the biggest but a nice documentary of Goodison's final season. The museum itself was worth the effort though, especially the cultural section overlooking the Mersey*. Once we'd finished up in the museum and tried to get a couple of Superlambanana photos with the boys, I was indulged with a trip to Everton Two for a commemorative scarf. Then it was food (McDonald's, of course) before Owen found a Harry Potter shop on the way back to the train. A long drive via Walsall for Aaron to go to his Dad's then it was back home.
A long but really nice day. It's not that often these days we get out with all for of us.
