Wow! That was hot today. Went out with just my tee shirt on (and other items, of course), but usually, you bring a cardie just in case. Archie was plodding a bit. So was I. But there's plenty of shade in the Links. SO GLAD were not still in London!!!

I then spent a bit of time trying to fix the tv settings back to what they were. No luck. I've now spent the best part of an hour chatting to a bot, then an actual person joined. Trouble with chat bots is they disappear for ages and you think they've gone. This person kept telling me to check the help pages, make sure the cables are in properly, and to switch off and on again etc... I said the a technician would fix it in five minutes. So eventually they booked one in for Monday!! Yay!!

JR went shopping after the gym, for goodies for lunch tomorrow. Then she went into town to pick up her handbag, which was having the strap fixed.

After another short stroll in the shade with Archie, I watched tennis. But I also did quite a protracted online negotiation... the seat/walking stick that I bought recently has stuck. Open. Can't close it, which renders it useless as a walking stick, but quite good as an emergency seat. I found the receipt and wrote to them to complain. They immediately said they'd send me another one with shipping charges free. So I said OK! I then realised it wasn't a free item, just free shipping charges. I couldn't stop the transaction. But I said I wanted a refund instead. So I'm not actually sure what the outcome will be.

JR brought Magnums back, so we sat out the back and enjoyed the warmth. That big white thing is a half eaten Magnum. Archie did get a bit!
