And The Winner Is…..

This dahlia won the race to be the first of the tubers our friend Rosie gave us to bloom. 

I spent most of the morning waiting for the much-heralded internet engineer to arrive. He was scheduled between 8am and 1pm and eventually arrived at 2! At least it gave me time to bake the weekly bread and watch the first morning of the England v India Test Match.

He was very thorough, tested everything and reset the cable port (as if I knew what that was!) and found that, as a result, we were back up to expected speed. He recommended that, if they found it slowed down again, they would send us a new router. So, basically we are back to where we were 3 weeks ago. I knew I should have held on to the one they sent us after the last engineer visit 3 weeks ago!
