Day of departure.

This was Hotel Admiral at breakfast time with our cases awaiting the taxi to Naples airport. Uneventful morning but a stressful afternoon. Ryanair cancelled my flight to Malta due to an issue with their radar. Plenty of other flights left including the girls back to Gatwick. Other flights came in & there was no shortage of passengers moving about Naples airport. Total lack of communication from Ryanair regarding what could be done to support those of us stranded. Luckily for me I was able to buddy up with Jennifer from Melbourne and we booked ourselves on a flight to Malta from Rome the next day. Got a taxi, 2 trains and another taxi. A hotel for the night & a shuttle bus to Rome airport the next morning. Flight was an hour late but that was really not a problem. A bus from Malta airport to ferry port. Ferry to Gozo. So pleased to see hubby & our friends S&S who’ve come out to dive. What a stressful 24hours.
