Ripples

It was a hot last night.  Took the hound for a 6.30am walk, there was a breeze but it felt humid.  

Headed into town for weekend shop.  Nipped round quickly.  I took this blip as I liked the contrast between the ripples and the flat water around the boats.

Spent the day indoors.  Made coffee to chill in the fridge  to drink later.  Made chocolate and raisin muffins for which the oven is only on for about 20 minutes.  

Had an afternoon nap, something I very rarely do.

The poor hound has been lying quietly indoors apart from outdoor comfort breaks.  Unlike me his appetite is not diminished by heat.

A scorcher tomorrow.  Stay cool everyone.

Salads for dinner.  Chopped fruit, chocolate muffin and ice cream for dessert.
