Parked

We skipped the morning walk as the temperature was already higher than the hound could cope with.   Greyhounds are heat-sensitive.  He's been chilling all day with occasional comfort breaks in the garden.

I made a pasta sauce in the morning when the kitchen was cool.  Wanting to have a change  from salads but today wasn't ideal for a hot meal.  Still we followed with fruit and ice cream.

It really has been hot and humid.  The air very reminiscent of descending from the aeroplane onto the runway of a Greek island in summer and being blasted by a wall of hot air after the air conditioned cabin.  The thermometer outside the kitchen registered 33° at one point.  The bedroom was 26°, 25° last night.

I've been indoors reading and relaxing.  And drinking chilled water from the fridge.  

There was a sprinkling of rain which practically evaporated on contact with any surface. 

Fingers crossed it's fresher tomorrow.
