Zoom

Suddenly we've gone from one or two hummers to at least 4 which has made the garden a much more interesting, much more zoomy place.  Quite a bit of chasing and chattering and the tiny roar of wings. Oh, how I love this time of year.

Bestie Peg is coming down for the night so I ran out to get some shrimp, chorizo and veggies for a simple sheet-pan back.  Then one farm to get strawberries and another to get fresh made ice cream.  Then back home to do a few things and spend some time on the deck.  Not quite as hot today as it was yesterday, and nowhere near has hot as it will be tomorrow.

Had a WhatsApp exchange with Hillyblips to confer on lenses and other details for our upcoming adventure in the Amazon rain forest.  I can hardly believe it is nearly here!  

I had my first session with my new therapist yesterday and I think I am going to like working with her.  I've got two more appointments to see her before I leave for Brazil, and will resume when I get back.  Good to take some positive steps for myself.
