Quiet Day

It rained. All day. With wind. No one came to visit. The wildlife went into hiding. Not much happened. Nary a photo-op to be found. 

We turned the heat on and settled in for a long day with possible power outages. I read on the sofa and my sister hovered over her jigsaw puzzle. All day. (extra) 

No big power outages - just on-off blips - but long enough to mess up any text or email you were in the process of sending!  

Plenty of time to watch scary news of wars and awful things happening south of the border. 

Plans to go to town tomorrow.
