The Calm Before The Storm

A very quiet Sunday, very still outside but also not very bright.

Tonight's blip is a close up view from the living room window of a chaffinch and a sparrow taking time out from the very busy feeder station , calmly waiting for the rest to fly off so they can have their turn.Might be worth looking Large.

Today was a day for recharging the batteries as we have something on every day this week in different parts of the country every day. lots of travelling , meetings, appontments and in the middle of it all a family funeral. No rest until friday, so it was really good to have a quiet day today.

Backhome for a reasonably less busy weekend next week then back to more travelling , this time down to Bath for the Special Olympics where we will be very busy. Back for a few days then it's the final part of the scotland Euro qualifiers, Hampden followed by jetting off to Macedonia for that game. At least out there we will have a big party before and after the game, then will be heading across country to Ohrid for a lakeside holiday. Should have a restful time there- we hope.
