Hot

...however I never complain and love the sun.  

OH was playing in a golf competition and C was coming round for a coffee.  We sat in the garden (in the shade) and caught up.  She has been a friend for over 30 years but it has taken me a few years to get to know her well.  Ups and downs but divorced for over 20 years and never found the second Mr Right, despite looking.  

She left around 1.00 and I packed the sunbed and a book and made a quick sandwich before heading off to the coast.  BIG mistake as the dual carriageway was blocked and Little Blue Man was telling me 15 minute delay, which rapidly increased to 19 then 30!  Too hot to be sitting in the car.........but I had air con and a podcast.  

I arrived at the beach as the tide was fully out but read my book, and waited for it to return.  Quick swim before coming home and OH had prawn sandwich but I was not hungry so had cup of tea and piece of cake only.
