Impromptu

I had a hair appointment at 9.00 after being cancelled yesterday.  I hadn't got anything else arranged so messaged No.1 to see what her plans were?  She had nothing booked so after hair and calling into get pastries I drove over (Little Blue Man doing me proud again).  We had a quick cup of tea and pastries and then made a few sandwiches and took blanket and lunch to Tooting Common.  We sat in the sun then had a wander and an ice cream - lovely day.  Then back to sort out Audible so she can listen to books on her walks.

I love spending time with my favourite person in the whole world and feel blessed I have the opportunity, although would much rather be back to where we were a few years ago with snatched quick phone calls while she walked to work and treasuring our meet ups as they had to be fitted in with a hectic job and lifestyle.  Such is life - absolutely sh*t.
