Garden Nebulae
Today’s heat means I’m planning to leave photography until the cooler evening, ideally hoping for a sunset. However, the A55 has other plans. A fire in the Conwy tunnel means much of the area is gridlocked. Apparently a crane had caught fire in the tunnel earlier in the afternoon, and whilst there are thankfully no casualties, once the fire is out, safety checks are needed before the road can be reopened.
The major artery along the north Wales coast, any closure means all the other routes quickly become clogged and for us to get to Llanfairfechan, for example, we would be directed via Betws y Coed and Bangor - a very lengthy detour! Even driving to Llandudno just seems too much to cope with.
So I content myself with the garden yet again, and it’s the sunlit spiderwebs that catch my eye, rainbow prisms shining magically, star trails bright amongst the nebulae of space. (A wider view in extras)
