Kiwano

My Dear Princess and Dear Fellow,

It's fun having Abi here. It has reminded me that we are in FOREIGN PARTS.

I went around the supermarket with her and she saw THIS.

"What is THAT??" she asked.

I didn't know. 

We decided to buy it. But then we forgot about it and went through the self-serve. 

Problem. 

"Ummm..." I said. Shall we look it up under "S"?

It didn't start with an S.

In the end we had to get the Nice Lady. She found it for us under K.

It's a "kiwano" she told us. 

When we got home, I took a picture of it and sent it to ChatGPT. Laura Faithfull told us that it tasted a bit like melon. 

It sat around the house for a few days before we remembered about it. Abi and I tried it. We both made a "meh" face. 

It was like a melon. But an OLD melon. A melon that had lost its melon essence. 

But for a while there, it was very exciting.
