A Dramatic Saturday in London

Today, Clare and I treated Clare's aunt Frances to lunch in London to celebrate Frances's 74th birthday. It was an unusual experience. The restaurant we'd booked had no gas and couldn't cook for us, so we were whisked across London in a taxi at the restaurant's expense to another where we were treated very well.

Afterwards, we took a boat ride from Embankment down to Greenwich. Fortunately we were under cover which protected us from summer squalls.
