Early morning Blip

An early night last night - Daughter One is involved in the re-opening of the island of Staffa today after a lot of work necessary before the tourists are invited back.
 
Can’t say I had a good night - wretched joint pain! - but at least I got a picture of the sunrise, my Blip today! I set off in good time for my appointment with the physio this morning and had a good hour’s worth of work. Let’s hope that some good will come of it.
 
I bought a picnic lunch and drove down to Carsaig - a four mile single track road down to the west coast of Mull. Sat on the grass above the beach for a while watching bird-watchers looking for something with their long lenses - today’s extra.
 
Before returning to the flat I went down to Fionnphort and bought an ice cream and had a walk down to the jetty where tourists were embarking for Iona.
 
Back to the flat, packed up and walked down to the bus for the hour’s ride to Craignure and another hour’s sailing to Oban where MrsM picked me up. I shall sleep well tonight, I hope!
