WHAT A SCORCHER!

TODAY was Community Fridge Day - and all I want to say is:

It was HOT and got even HOTTER as the day went on

We were several volunteers down

We had LOADS of food

LOTS of cabbages and leeks were sorted out to make them look better
as well as lemons, limes, pineapples and various other veggies and fruit

I am fed up with seeing squashy tomatoes - but made more soup when I got home

We had at least THIRTY bunches of flowers, if not more - and lots of happy men took them

THANK YOU TO ALL OUR CUSTOMERS 
some of whom had been waiting for about two hours for us to open

THANK YOU TO ALL THE VOLUNTEERS and to HEATHER, our HH - 
despite the very warm weather, we all “kept our cool”!

TEAM WORK MAKES THE DREAM WORK!


I’m NOT grumbling... but

TONIGHT we have a Church Meeting, so...

IT WILL BE a quick tea - I know Mr. HCB reads my Blips, so at least he will know!

There won't be much commenting tonight - sorry!
