Beadnell Bay

The excited boys woke at six; parents weren't so enthusiastic. After we got breakfast together the heat started to get into the day and we headed off for Beadnell Bay. Northumberland and it's beaches seem to be one of England's best kept secrets; I think that if we gain independence we should annex Northumberland, who'd notice?? ;)

Weather was gorgeous, kids went mental, 99's were eaten and bracing swims in the North Sea taken. BBQ back at the campsite and the kids were ready for a longer sleep than the previous night.

Unfortunately we missed one of the Worlds great horticultural events.
