Village Green

More sunshine! Gets a little boring doesn't it day in, day out haha!! Not venturing far in the heat, but we did go to nearby Wat Tyler Country Park this morning for a little wander, as they have quite a few shady areas to walk which was nice.

This is the village green area, where there are some historic thatched cottages that have been moved from other areas in Essex to preserve them so it has a lovely feel to it.  Nice des res for the birdies too in the foreground!

Saw a few butterflies, bunnies and birds as we wandered but they weren't posing,  but we were very thankful for a stop at the cafe - cooling cream soda went down a treat!
