Graz

A few days in Austria's second largest city - Graz - which has a pleasant, compact old centre, with some attractive squares and buildings. One curiosity, which I have never seen outside an Escher print, was a double spiral staircase - two staircases joined together - one spiralling clockwise and the other anticlockwise, meeting at each level of the building.
