Eider family

A busy work day in front of the computer. A late lunchtime walk when these Eiders were exploring the bay. I suspect they are juveniles from last year. I saw some eggs in a Common gulls nest but also found some broken shells. Maybe predation which it looked like to me but possible they had hatched and the adults had moved them away from the nest.

I like the light in this shot and the raindrops.
