Sewing

My morning was a bit like a multi drop delivery driver; doctors, Tesco, post office, Lidl, Hobbycraft and then home again.  Job done!

I was meeting up with M for a cup of tea but had a few hours to finish sewing project - thank you card for D&A who we met up with in York.  They bought dinner so wanted to make a card depicting their camper van.  Took a few attempts but getting better with machine embroidery.

It was good to catch up with M who sadly is suffering with her tummy (4 hernia operations and now needs another).  Her mum is also showing signs of dementia - we both remarked that we never thought we would be in the position we are (her with health problems limiting what she can do and me having lost Aimee, at aged 34).  Funny old life, just have to roll with the punches and turn your face to the sun?

Home by 6.00 and OH did well at golf and was sitting on the patio with a beer so I joined him with a glass of wine.
