Cheeky

I had a text first thing from No.1 frustrated that her appointment at St George's was postponed until tomorrow (consultant required for emergency surgery apparently).  JC had taken the day off so it was a bit annoying and plans for tomorrow will have to be changed.  More waiting and another apprehensive day.

I always feel guilty getting on with normal stuff when No.1 is going through such sh*t but sure she understands?

We have had Malcolm for two weeks now and it has not been the best timing in terms of kitchen refurb.  However he has provided us with lots of laughs and is a lovely cat but now it was time for him to go home!  The kitchen boys started today and there was stuff everywhere and a temporary kitchen in the sitting room.  Malcolm went into hiding but I knew his favourite places so managed to find him and get him in his carrier.  He was not happy on the journey (neither was I, road closures and delays) but we got to Bow and No.2 was pleased to see him.  A quick visit to his new studio to drop off new saw (££ purchase but will stand him in good stead) and then I was on my way home again.   Microwave dinner on a tray and a glass of wine, then scrolling looking for table lamps for the new dining room.  I always concentrate on the titivation at the end and it gets me through the muck and mess stage!.
