Painted Rock

In a couple of weeks it will be workday in the Drying Ground and, stump digging out, weeding and bramble bashing apart we need activities for the children when they are not stump digging out, weeding or bramble bashing.  So it will be painting rocks and, hopefully, making a mosaic out of all the broken crockery we have unearthed whilst digging.  I asked our elderly neighbour about the crockery and she told me there was no refuse collection service when she was a youngster so folks would chuck their broken pots onto the drying ground.

My blip is of my attempt at painting a rock, ha hah.  It is sitting in the midst of Tonehenge and fast becoming surrounded by wildflowers.
