Cornflower

I decided to walk down to my first Physio session this morning to see how my knee held up, and I'm pleased that it was okay.  The session was a bit basic but useful to have a few more exercises that were new to me and I will get to have a gentle trot on the treadmill.

Our electricity was due to be switched off all morning so after Physio I stayed in Bingley and had my morning cuppa in the Craft Cafe (and a toasted teacake!). Back home I did an hour moving stones in the Drying Ground before lunch, then in the afternoon when it was cooler I got on with digging.  I'd hung the new bird feeder well away from branches and on a very long pole hook to see what the squirrels would do, no surprises they slid down the pole and hung upside down to avoid closing up the feeder!  I have given my feedback and a couple of photos to the supplier!

Digging done I went home to rest up before dinner and took my camera out into the garden.  Tony planted some spare cornflowers in a bit of ground and the first ones are flowering.  I do love them but I can't coax them to grow in the mini meadow.  Annoyingly, they are flourishing in the drying ground!  My blip is of one of the cornflowers which has found its way up the elder tree stump which has become something of a feature, because it's too heavy to move!
