Foxgloves

It was a scorcher today and it is only going to get hotter as we near the weekend. 

This morning I went to take down my camera club exhibition prints, and a group of us stayed on and had a coffee in the cafe at the exhibition venue. That's another exhibition done and dusted and the end of our camera club season until September.

I then went into Cobham to The Ivy to meet a friend who is visiting from Australia, we were a group of four and sat in their shady outdoor garden courtyard which was very pleasant on such a hot day. We obviously discussed Gavin's health situation amongst other things.

I went grocery shopping before going home so got home in the afternoon. Later I took Xena for another walk but it was so hot her tongue seemed to stretch even further as she was panting due to the heat. I have enjoyed the wild foxgloves this year but they are nearly over now.

I am watching The Last Anniversary on BBC iplayer, and am enjoying it so far - I do enjoy Australian movies /TV shows.
