Lovely June roses
As I said the other day the roses are really looking their best at the moment in the front garden.
The main one seen on the left and top right is ‘A Shropshire Lad’. My all time favourite, scented and shading from a peachy pink to almost white. The other one that can be seen below it is ‘Grace’. Again changing from a deep peachy yellow to almost pink. Both lovely roses filling this corner of the front garden.
The deeper pink you may be able to spot is ‘The Alnwick Rose’ which has never quite made it into my faves. I tried taking one of ‘Alexander’ but it’s almost too bright. Its fiery red/orange seems to defy the camera. It’s in full bloom at the moment in the opposite corner by the front door. I’ll try another time to get a good picture of it.
Pilates this morning and then lunch at Woodbank. Stuffed again!
