And Then the White Ones Come
I love all peonies, but I am especially fond of the white ones. In the right light, the photograph beautifully and look gorgeous in monochrome as well. (Extra) I had to displace a couple of ants to make this image. The relationship between peonies and ants is a type of mutualism in which two organisms of different species benefit from the activity of one another. Peony flowers provide food for ants and in turn, the ants protect the blossoms from other floral-feeding insects. They will find their way back. John will be here later this morning for some weeding and mulching. Hopefully, some showers this afternoon. The garden needs it.
