A time for everything

Happy Fathers Day!

A good morning at church, where Dads and Grads (Graduates) were being honoured. The service began with a beautiful prelude for cello and piano, featuring our keyboardist and cellist Tom on piano this time, with his daughter from his first marriage playing cello. She was also one of the graduates being recognized as she has just graduated with her Doctorate in Music from the College Conservatory of Music in Cincinnati. Talk about a talented family! Tom’s eldest daughter from his second marriage was also a graduate, graduating from High School and going to Ohio University to study Nursing -:following in her Mothers footsteps! After the service, I went to Bible Study, currently looking at the Book of Proverbs, while R went to an informational meeting, one of four, at different times, presenting to the congregation various big budget items that are coming up, the main ones being resurfacing the parking lot which is quite large, and much of which is in a severely degraded state, and issues with the security locks on the doors.
In the afternoon, we went cycling again, this time starting from Morrow - 11 miles again. In the evening, as you can see from my collage, we had a barbecue. Some showers had been forecast for the afternoon into the evening, but fortunately they never materialized! The top two photos in my collage are from our cycle ride.
