Tammie Cleaning da Scheme

A calm but showery morning first thing, soon dried up with low cloud and mist around.  The afternoon was warmer and sunnier.  Raining tonight.

Back to work, a day working on the street beat cleaning, all day.  I started with the north and south beats.  After break it was cleaning the lanes, then back to Da Street for more bins and litter picking.  There was a huge cruise ship in Lerwick, 4,900 passengers, plenty of rubbish but 99.9% made it to the bins.  Another job I had today, tourist information, many questions and directions thrown at me.  A fine quiet evening at home, then mam came along with nieces, Megan and Anna.  Bedtime walkies with Sammy.

While I was out litter picking the lanes, I came across Tammie busy around his neighbourhood.  I was weed spraying here last week, which he was very grateful.  I was also very grateful, with the grand job he was doing.  Tammie has pressure washed the steps and bairns play area, currently trying to get rid of the moss in the area.  With the already stretched council, anyone willing to help out is a major bonus.  We need more Tammies across the country.  Tammie Duncan busy at Mounthooly Place, Lerwick.
