Fixing My Model

This Lego Formula One Mclaren has been sitting in bits, in a box, for the last eight months. When we moved, I didn't pack it and my other Lego Formula One model properly, so they both fell apart in the move. Thankfully, I had kept the building manual and spent some time this afternoon fixing it, whilst Little Man was distracted.

My Mercedes-AMG PETRONAS Formula One model was an easy fix (see the extra photo) so only took a few moments when we'd first moved here. My Mercedes model lives downstairs now as Little Man loves playing with it, gently.

Today has been lovely. Little Man had nursery this morning, as usual. I had let his teachers know he'd spoken to his dad on Saturday and might be unsettled. Thankfully, he wasn't. He's been busy testing his boundaries all afternoon, which has made it pretty challenging as I've had to keep an eye on him, and keep fishing him out of the chaos he would create whenever he didn't get what he wanted. He's gone to bed with very little fuss, but is still awake as I'm writing this.
