Pollinators

A couple of bees on the Oriental poppies this afternoon at the Halifax Public Gardens.
The Sunday afternoon concerts at the gardens started today with John Alphonse and the Waterfront Stompers. The music was good, and it made for an enjoyable walk around the gardens.
Brunch went well today. Last week I asked one of the other members if he would be interested in booking the restaurants for me. Ed is at brunch every week, except when we do the out of town brunches. He wasn't enthusiastic about it, but he did think about it this week and decided he could do it. He realized that someone would need to step up and take over Alan's position. Ed also agreed to become the treasurer. I need to find time to get to the bank and get a new bank card for the group. Even though both Alan and I have signing authority, I never had a bank card, I didn't need one.
I did not get an update on Alan this week. I haven't been talking to Jean.  If there was any change, she would have called me. He is still in the hospital.
