Mount Battock
After yesterday’s torrential rain today was warmer and dry. We went up Mount Battock, the most easterly Corbett and a very easy walk up a track. The hill is devoted to Grouse shooting, so is covered in tracks, Grouse butts and excessive Muirburn. The blip is Mount Battock on the way up with the blooming Bell Heather. The extras are rather fine Grouse butts for the brave hunters (hill of Wirren, yesterday’s hill is in the background) and an example of excessive Muirburn.
Best on black.
Today’s entry on the Abstract Fiesta journal is Bell Heather.
