Hill of Wirren
The heavy showers duly materialised and so we set off late to walk up Hill of Wirren. The way to the hill was enlivened by closed roads and floods but we got to the bottom and had lunch. We then dressed in jackets and over-trousers before going the short way up the hill. Truth be told it’s not a great hill being despoiled by an estate keen to maximise the numbers of Grouse. It was easy going except right at the top, but we got very wet feet. We then headed down and heard a lot of thunder, but saw no lightning. I didn’t carry the camera but the phone did a good job for the blip of S as we came down the hill. It doesn’t show the rain that was falling so it looks much better than it was.
Best on black.
Today’s entry on the Abstract Fiesta journal is Misty Hills.
