Penny

We couldn't remember when or where we bought this wool wall art, but a little sleuthing answered that and led us to more memories.  We knew we bought it in the UK.  We knew that it was after our Penny had passed away.  We know the artist lived on Isle of Muck.  I remembered that we bought it at a gift shop at a ferry terminal.  B remembered doing some geocaching at a ferry terminal.  The proverbial light bulb came on over both heads and we logged into geocaching.com and started going back in time until we found the final clue:  Geocache found at Armadale, Skye  -  10th August 2010:  the note I logged:  "a lovely find, following which we spent far too much money in the gift shop".
Update:  when we moved back to Canada, Penny came out of storage and was placed back in position on the bedroom wall where she can watch over us for the rest of our days.
