While I started painting the new ceiling in the hall this morning SWMBO wandered along the road to find out why we were not being bothered with pi** poor parking of yesterday despite there being loud 'party' music coming from the football club.
Apparently there was a sign and cones at the end of the street saying 'Resident Only'.
It would appear our visit and chat with the organiser yesterday had the desired effect.

After I finished the painting, the doorbell went and in trooped The Monsters, Bags and the SIL and handed me a case of beer and some chocolate!
Apparently it is father's day.
They seemed to like what has been done with the kitchen.

This evening I have done the prep in the kitchen so I can start painting the ceiling tomorrow .... and got a video call from No1 son.
They are good kids.
