Bobbing Along

Another sunny day so after breakfast we went to Emsworth to walk. We wandered around Nore Barn Woods, then along the shoreline to the quayside. In the millpond the sailing schools were holding a training session for children. The brightly coloured sails of the Optimist sailing dinghies along with the shouts and chatter of their occupants added an air of excitement to the calm Sunday morning atmosphere.

The afternoon was spent researching dog sitters and holiday options for a UK break with Merlin later in the year.

This evening a hornet has flown down the chimney into the log burning stove. It’s very active and making quite a noise so we plan to leave it overnight and try to release it in the morning.
