Plums…

This morning I took the grandchildren to Richmond Park…it was soooooo busy I don’t usually go there at weekends! . We went to Pembroke Lodge and walked to King Henrys Mound to look towards St Paul’s and in the other direction towards LHR and Windsor. On the way out we counted the cyclists coming towards us…82 in less than a mile! Most were ‘leisure’  cyclists and families not the racing types as they will have been much earlier and probably out in the Surrey Hills.  But not many deer visible from the road.

Back to their house for lunch and then later I went to the allotment and saw that there are a lot of Victoria plums on the tree…let’s hope they will ripen as last year they we had a hopeless crop.

Now watching athletics on TV…we will be going to the London meeting in July.
