Cromer Lifeboat
I didn't bother going on the railway today for the 'Rails and Ales' event; I would have only had one ride up and down and may not even have had a beer, and I thought that even the members' price for the day was more than I wanted to pay just for that. However, it's clear it has been a great event for the railway and all of the feedback I've seen on Facebook from visitors has been really positive.
That isn't to say I didn't visit at all. W wanted to fill her car with petrol so we had a drive over to Sheringham this morning and, having parked next to the station, I took a few quick shots. This is one of the visiting diesels named 'Cromer Lifeboat', and I've added a couple of extras with a full view of it, and a shot of one of the resident shunters bringing some coaches into the station.
Afterwards a walk along the sea front; today's ice cream of choice was Maple and Walnut. Raspberry for W.
