Lifting the spirits

Maybe I’ve been watching too much news coverage but I felt really down this morning.

I headed off to Elford Walled Garden, one of my happy places, and it was wonderful.

Perhaps it takes a smiling oxe eye daisy to lift the spirits.

Extras…..a flowering yucca and an “opium poppy” as Google described it.
