A new dress?

Some may say it has the appearance of a slinky number but in fact it is part of an art installation being constructed in the Dervaig Community Orchard shed. A number of years ago now, a talented local artist designed our logo - a simple apple tree, complete with fruit and leaves. My blip shows the trunk of the apple tree and the leaves and apples will be added in due course.
This morning, quite a group of us spent several hours pulling bracken, mowing, weeding, hanging lights which will be solar powered, and generally  tidying up the area in preparation for the forthcoming event of Art in the Orchard where folk can sign up to participate in various artist-led workshops.
