Rodgersia

The wonderful foliage of the perennial Rodgersia has appeared around the bog garden every summer since we moved here (end of 2010). I love the large leaves with their bright green colouring and coppery tint but I don’t remember seeing these tall plumes of flowers before this year. They add to the delight of this beautiful sculptural plant.
It was a small select group who came along to UFOs craft group in the morning as a number of our regulars are on holiday or have some other valid reason for not being there. As always, it was great fun and the time flew by far too quickly.
