Concorde and Lego
It rained, a lot, more than a lot, today and by 9 the water butt overfloweth. However, today's activity involved being inside so we drive down to East Fortune for 10 and the start of Awesome Bricks at the Museum of Flight. There was slightly less rain in East Lothian.
T was in his element and spent ages looking around, and spending money, and I looked at the planes, and eventually finished my book.
We had coffee outside, (12 Deg, 8 Deg colder than yesterday) until the rain came back on, and T was third on the leaderboard on the speed building competition, beating the adults but not the pros. Dinner of the Lego creations were amazing but most of the exhibitors were male. Mmm.
We left eventually well after 2 and headed to North Berwick where luckily I managed to get parked on the main street. Had a look at some of the shops, coffee in Steampunk and a walk round the Harbour. Then home via the coast.
It was still raining as we headed west. Looked like the weather had been worse in Edinburgh.
M and H popped in in the way back from Straiton with my belated Easter bunny and an update on the non holiday. I lent him my Marchmont book. Unfortunately my neighbour caused an altercation about parking which soured that visit. He is obsessed about people parking outside his house.
S didn't like the thought of brown rice so we cooked separately. I ended up just having pasta, and bunny ears and some wine. Healthy, not.
Watched a stupid romcom and started to edit Mum photos.
