Os Nosh

This morning was the Green Fair in Oswestry and there were stalls for all things green as well as the usual market stalls.  There were stalls publicising all kinds of organisations - bee keeping, the library, the Community Orchard, a local allotment, composters and many ore.

This is Os Nosh which takes excess food from the shops and other organisations and cooks it and local people can go and get a meal there.  O volunteers there and I was chatting to this lady who know him.  She's one of the chefs. There was free samples including pieces of freshly made cheese and chive scones.

Afterwards I had lunch at F's and then helped him with tying up his climbing rose.  I came home with some lovely roses thet had been trimmed off it.

An ex work colleague phoned me this afternoon.  She's having the same heart op as me and in the same hospital so wanted to know about my experiences.  I hope that I was able to reassure her.
