Lavender

The lavender is at its best now and the colour and perfume are intense . I shall cut some to bring indoors. There were a lot of bees enjoying it, I thought I had included them in the photo, but they are not obvious.
We didn’t get the promised rain, yet not far from here there was flooding. So I guess I will be getting the hose out again.
I watched Trooping The Colour this morning. Such a wonderful spectacle.
