Iris

This yellow iris was blooming in one of the gardens we worked on today. There was so much in bloom in this garden today, it was hard to decide which photo to choose. Rhododendrons, lilacs, azaleas. The roses were starting to bloom. The tree peony flowers were looking rather tattered.

Tomorrow morning I will go to Bridgewater to pick up some plants, then meet the travel/social group in Lunenburg for a horse drawn carriage ride. So far the forecast is for partly sunny skies, a 40% chance of afternoon showers and a high temperature of 19 C. It is a little cooler than what it should be at this time of year.
