All the scene needs is a burnt out Vauxhall Astra in the pond and it would be a perfect homage.

I needed some air & sun at lunchtime, so strolled to the local golf course. It closed over 5 years ago and has slowly become more wonderful. Previously I have seen deer, herons, little egrets, buzzards and a barn owl. Today’s bonus was lots of blue damselflies.

No doubt it will soon be a housing estate.
