Roasted

The temperature and the humidity were very high today. There's also been virtually no wind to cool us down.

Both Little Man and I have been coughing, which really hit yesterday morning. I took Little Man to nursery, but he got sent home within two hours due to the cough. We came home, to drop his bag off and download some Paw Patrol episodes on my phone as I had a hair cut and I wouldn't have coped with having to rearrange the appointment. The coloured bits of hair had completely dried out. So Little Man watched his stuff and I got pampered.

We did go out this afternoon for a pretty long walk, with the pushchair so Little Man relaxed and I melted slowly. Thank God for Factor 50 suncream (I lathered us both up several times on the walk).

We got home and cooled down in the bath... we went straight in and then spent the rest of the afternoon relaxing. The lovely aspect of our old house is that the walls are pretty thick, so it felt pretty cool.
