Scrim Veil, NYC
This morning I went to the Whitney Museum of American Art, mainly to see this installation by Robert Irwin, which occupies most of the 4th floor of the museum. It's a reprise of its first installment in 1971 (which I have to say I undoubtedly had no idea about, although I think I was in New York at the time). Seeing it first hand was a very impressive experience; follow the link for more info.
The museum also has a wonderful, all-inclusive exhibition of their holdings of drawings by Edward Hopper, which I will return to with Marylee.
